Morgan Davies

The Morgan Davies is my great, great grandfather on my father's side. He was born in Wales and came to the US in 1869. He was the inside mine foreman for the Potts Colliery in Shenandoah according to the 1881 History of Schulykill Co., PA. He is listed as the son of Morgan Davies on his death certificate. His only living son Samuel was my great grandfather. He married Mary Hughes in Wales and they had several daughters of which there are several living branches. Elizabeth and Hannah's lines are still going strong.
